Turkey is a country bathed by the beaches of the Aegean Sea, the Mediterranean, the black Sea and Marmara Sea, as well as the Bosphorus Strait. Those on the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean are more tourist oriented and so have more hotel accommodation than other places in the vicinity. On the Mediterranean, you have a coastline of over 1000 km, from Marmaris to Anyla, where you will find sandy coves, cliffs, and above all Marmaris, an authentic luxury place with grandiose tourist infrastructures, hotels, apartments...
Between Izmir and Antalya, you'll find many places where aquatic sports are practiced, and for the future, the Turkish government is foreseeing the creation of new marinas and ports for recreation on the Mediterranean coast.
Turkey has fantastic beach areas of white sand in places like Marmaris, Kusadasi or Bodrum, and also other places like Dalyan or Istanbul, which are both excellent places to practice aquatic sports. At the length of the coastline, especially on the Mediterranean, you'll discover small fishing villages, extensive white sand beaches where you can relax and try out the fresh fish. |
